The Sacramento Kings had long liked Robinson, and even came close to pulling off a trade for him at the February deadline. Yet Saturday night, a league source familiar with Kings plans said it was “highly doubtful” the team would pursue a trade for him.

Hrmm... OK I know we have too many PGs but if we were to package one of them with Hawes........ Maybe pry away Danilo Gallinari? Dunno.. just a thought when I saw that Robinson wanted to be traded.

Maybe Knicks bite on a Sergio for Robinson trade? I think Nate is a huge AHOLE, but I love the guy. Sometimes I like the AHOLES on the other teams though. He'd be a nice first player off the bench.

No thanks!

The last thing we need is Nate to screw around with the chemistry. We have 3 PGs that all complement each other really well. I would stick with status quo

I don't know why any Kings fan would want to get another dwarf point guard, especially now that we don 't have any problem with our back court personnel. Evans is a beasty point guard, Beno is almost a perfect spark plug off the bench, and we have a very good pass-first point guard in Rodriguez when the other two point guards are off their games.

Why can't we just propose only trades that will address what is broken in this team, rather than fixing something ( back court ) that is working pretty well?

Do you guys really think Robinson is a Steve Nash, or Chris Paul to warrant this kind of attention?:o

You guys are unbelievable. I think this thread is one of those threads proposing for a trade just for the sake of trading. You guys are bored.:D

Honestly I don't think I would want anyone from that team. Maybe 2 years ago Nate would have been fun to have here but he is just a shoot first PG who makes bad decisions.

Times have changed for the Kings and its hard to see where the interest would be now. We're overloaded with young PGs/SGs/SFs having success as it is. And Nate carries with him major chemistry questions.

I think Gary was more interested in gettin Gallinari, than he was Robinson. However, I'll pass. We need a defensive center.

I liked the idea of Nate here last year, but he would just end up in another NY situation with our crowded backcourt.

Pass on Galinari as well. Same reason. NY is no longer a decent trading partner.

The whole idea I had was using the whole "Nate wants out" scenario to grab another player that might help us out.. I have REALLY liked Gallinari's game but I am not sure if the Knicks trade him even to get rid of a headache like Nate.

If you had to compare I would say Casspi is Hedo/Manu and Gallinari is a Peja type talent.. Deadly sharpshooter. I wouldn't mind having either one of them on the Kings.. Then we move Martin (cry) and maybe a pick for a big man and we are set..

I don't think the Knicks would trade Galli to get rid of Nate... And past Galli, the only thing I want from the knicks is currently owned by the Utah Jazz...

That being said if we could steal galli away for cheap then it'd be worth dealing with Nate for a year, we could act as a facilitator for a trade though with the Knicks

Why would New York do that?!

Would you trade any one of these players

JT,
Tyreke,
Casspi

Just to trade away Kenny Thomas?!

OF COURSE NOT!!! ;)

There is NO way NY would trade their lottery pick in Gallinari just so that they can trade away a disgruntled player that is an expiring contract anyway!

I'm not even sure why we would do that. We already have Casspi and Greene on board barking for minutes, why would we be after a soft shooting SF?

The only Knicks player i wouldn't mind having a try getting is Darko. I think he's expiring anyway and has said he's going back to europe next year. Maybe Westpal can work his magic on Darko, like he has with everyone else. He should get some playing time with how thin our front court is and if it pans out maybe he stays and we have our 3rd big. Also wasn't is a couple of years ago when he was pretty good at shot blocking / rebounding when he got playing time.

For example:

Nate ($4m) & Darko ($7m) both Expirings

for

KT ($9m) & Sergio or May/Filler...

Just a thought anyway.

Nah, I was thinking more of a Martin for Gallinari, and Nate, and a 1st round pick down the road (which if it's the knicks it sould be a good pick)

Or we could do a Nocioni and a 1st rounder of ours (conditional) for Nate and Gallinari.. I think one is tipped in NY's favor and the other trade in Sac's favor.. Not even sure if they work salary wise but it was just a basic idea..

That still keeps the core of young players plus it picks up another young guy that's got a ton of potential. But I doubt NY would trade him anyway..

i wouldnt mind darko but i dont think that westphal's magic touch works that well on big men.

Never wanted Nate and don't now.

We are sooooo lucky Walsh didn't agree to trade KT for Nate and Jeffries at the last trade deadline as was reported. I bet Walsh would do anything to get that chance back. He can't package Jeffries and Curry with ANYTHING right now to get more expiring contracts.

Yeah, let's get Gallinary so the team can revert back to its softness.

And yes, we need more of those kind of outside shooting sissy players who can't rebound and who sucks on defense.

This is just unbelievable.

There is absolutely no need for this guy on our team. He's a drama queen.
Plus, would you want run the risk of having this idiot do that lame *** soulja boy dance in a Kings uniform.
