Nate McMillian Blazers Deal-5 years, 30 million

Just got word that Nate McMillan's 5 year contract in Portland that he just agreed to last night is worth 30 million dollars-6 million per year.

That is amazing. What a slap in the face to the Sonics. He's lucky he left town before the Sonics fired him.

There is also word that Isiah Thomas is being considered to replace McMillan-along with Flip Saunders.

Why is that a slap in the face? Did Seattle offer him equal money (I ask not knowing)? If you're a coach especially, where every job could be your last and big money offers might come along once a career, how are you going to turn down $30 million to wear a suit and have the best seat in the house?
