The only 2 I like from your list are Sloan and JVG. Of course I also like Adelman and Jackson, but the first one already has a job and the there's no chance Jackson could even consider coaching us, not even a 0,000000000001%.

Right now, I would be happy with everyone who has shown to be a legit NBA coach, someone like McMillan or Stan Van Gundy for example.

My honest dream coach? Popovich. But out of the coaches actually out there:

1) PJax (also not happening)
2) Jeff Van Gundy
3) Jerry Sloan
4) Nate McMillan

What's happened to SVG btw?

We could also do a players you'd like to see on the kings.

1) Lebron
2) Rondo
3) Harden
4) Ibaka
5) Durant.

The guys available? Jerry Sloan. He'll instill the discipline this team needs. We'll be running sexy half court plays and play hard nosed. We have the players for that style too. He'll make an excellent lead guard out of Reke for sure and hammer some sense into Big Cuz when he gets out of control.

Pete Carrill, he's more experienced than the rest. Just making fun. I'll stick with present one until replace him. Big task tonight to beat the Lakers. I'll be there. Go Kings.ioo

Sloan, McMillan and Stan Van Gundy are all acceptable to me....of course my top choice would be Adelman but he's not leaving the t-wolves anytime soon, plus the fact the Maloofs would never want him back

No offense, but your wish list should include realistic choices. The only one on that list that would even consider coaching here is Larry Brown, IMO. It doesn't matter, though, the Magoofs aren't interested in winning and they found themselves a coach willing to sell his soul for a paycheck. I mean, Smart can't really be as dumb as he coaches.

Of guys who are realsitically out there, JVG and McMillan. We wouldn't score any more, but we'd be disciplined (both players and coaches) and keep our focus on the other end. JVG as the coach of Yao and TMac and Ewing and Spree is especially attractive for our personnel. Unfortunately he's got a gig, and one where he doesn't have to answer to the Maloofs.

I think any but Adelman and Bird could be had with the right amount of $$$. Jackson especially would love to stick it to the Lakers.

Wait til after the season to make the change.. we are going to be in the lottery anyway, might as well pick in the top 5 rather than top 10-12

I would like sloan, mcmillan or brown

If your talking about Larry Brown, that will never happen as long as Petrie is GM. Which I guess could change at anytime. Brown is always ambitious once in the headcoaching job. He's never content with just coaching the team, he wants to make roster decisions as well. Petrie knows that, and for that reason it'll never happen. However, to some extent Brown would be a good coach for this team. He's a hard taskmaster, but he's also one of the better teaching coaches around. He's always been excellent with young teams.

My first choice would be Sloan. And one thing is for sure, everyone would know their role. But I won't be greedy, I'll settle for any coach that has had extended success in the NBA. Sloan, McMillian, Van Gundy, Brown, are all acceptable choices right now.

you gotta pay to play or coach or draft or trade or win...so that is the real problem. Plus picking guys on the cheap....or even picking guys that will do whatever you say for cheap will not lead to success..it will lead to ...where we are now:cool:
