If you can save us Cisco somehow and convince the Cs to take...Douby? No idea why they;d need him...er...somebody other than Cisco, I'm all down wiht that trade.

I think it is a good trade for both sides. W get to remove some salary and get a young point and move up the draft to take Yi. Boston does this trade because it would make them a contender in the east and they still has a draft pick

I actually think that's a tad too much to give up for five spots in the draft. Especially since whoever you're choosing at #5 is going to be a high risk/high upside pick rather than a more sure thing, I don't know that the difference between #10 and #5 is so great that it's worth sacrificing both Bibby and Miller for essentially nothing. I know you clear some salary, but I still don't love the trade.

Also I doubt Boston would go for it since it leaves them completely defenseless.

Boston had no defense to begin with. also a starting lineup of

Mike Bibby
Gerald Green
Paul Pierce
Al Jefferson
Brad Miller

is pretty good in the east. I think atleast a 4 spot in the East

That's what makes me skeptical that they're going to want to trade for Bibby and Miller. I think they could do better with the 5th pick, unfortunately.

I don't they get the 10 pick also this would get them in the playoffs for sure ad help keep Danny his job in the process.

If that can get us Rondo instead of Telfair, I'd say do it. Bibby and Miller are our defensive weak points right now anyway. But trading for Ratliff, Wally, and Telfair -- none of those players are in the longterm plans so you're basically giving up two former All-Stars to move up 5 picks.

But why don't Boston trade the #5 + enders to Portland for Zach Randolph and Jarrett Jack? Pierce, Randolph, and Jefferson is the best frontline in th east, at least offensively. Bibby is not that much better than West, while Miller and Jefferson plays the same position.

Btw, Al Jefferson is a center.

#7. Al Jefferson
Height: 6' 10"
Weight: 265 lbs.
Position: Power Forward

Jefferson plays center. Just ask any Celtics fan. He struggled at the 4 and finally came alive as a 5 last season.

The Celts have a rotation of Gomes/Powe/Scalabrine as their PF.

Kendrick Perkins is their starting center is he not?

Perkins was the regular center in the first month (when Jefferson was on the bench) but faded and eventually Jefferson took over. They did started some games with Perkins and Jefferson together but Perkins usually only got about 20 mins (some of that is subbing in for Jefferson).

Then Perkins got more minutes when Jefferson was injured towards the end of the season. Yahoo sports lists Jefferson as a FC. I guess the jury is not out that Jefferson may return to the PF position, but he has strived as a 5 and struggled at the 4.

. Al can play both positions, he is better on offense at C but on defense,
he is better at PF. If we had oden, Al would be a PF, no questions....anyways,
he is gonna be allstar, we are very high on him:)
