More big names coming to Golden 1

Just wanted to share with you guys my experience at the Draft Party the other night at the Golden 1 experience center on J street.


Had my rep send over this slide that I thought was interesting.. Couple of events we already know about but a few bigger names I hadn't seen mentioned yet.

I also got a chance to tour the inside of the arena and stand where the hardwood will be.. I'm not gonna lie, I definitely got choked up a bit. A real thing of beauty. Sorry for the crappy quality of the video. That first room is the practice facility, which can be viewed form the inside of the arena.


and the best part of the entire night... I hung out with this legend!

In all seriousness, Kenny is a really nice guy. He brought his son and was there promoting his new restaurant, EL REY (which means the king in Spanish). It will be right next to the arena. Opens up in 3 weeks.

All and all, the business side of the Kings continues to blow me away.
 
Thanks for sharing, Merdiesel! I think it will finally sink in for me that we truly have a state-of-the-art facility big names actually WANT to appear in when I attend my first concert. :)
