Just tweeted about an hour ago:

"man im not askin y im n sacramento!!! lol i def know y im here!!!!"

Do we read this as Monroe over Cousins? Pretty interesting that he's back for a another look.

I would think it would mean Monroe over Wesley Johnson esp since Wesley has not worked out for us yet? I think the FO has sorta made it clear they want a Big at no 5

I still think we take Cousins at 5 if he is still there, if not then maybe Monroe

Honestly, who knows what this means. Nobody here saw the Dalambert trade happening. All gm's are posturing and playing mind games. This could very well be to deflect attention away from Cousins. Who knows...

Monroe is a definite possibility, but I won't for a second act like I know what Petrie is up to.

I think people need to prepare themselves for Monroe if he is selected over Cousins. I know that I want Cousins, but every time I read about him I question if we should draft him.

Not as if people haven't read this information before, but it does put a picture of maybe we will pass.
The more that I like Cousins for the Kings after reading this.:D

Temper, making a swim move if you try to stop him, unpredictable to the point that he may hurt somebody. Tough and physical kid. That is the kind of aggressiveness in a developing player I want for my team.

At 19 years old, it is not as if all these childish behaviors are indicative that Cousins may turn into a psychopath. These kind of behaviors can easily be transformed/channeled into something useful inside the court.

The development of this kid ( with all that drama and I hope game fights ala-Charles Barkley ) will be one of the most exciting to follow and watch in the NBA.:D

or a second chance to make right on the methodology and thinking behind drafting a 7 footer with a passing skillset

I want Cousins and will probably be a little upset if we take Monroe if Cousins is still on the board. I wont be upset though if Cousins is off the board and we take Monroe.

I will lower myself into a second story window of GM's home while wearing a ski mask and night vision goggles if we pick Monroe while Cousins is still on the board. No Monroe. DO NOT WANT!

Probably the same amount of people said this about Rubio last year.

I'm not going to pretend to know what Petrie is up to. I wouldn't be surprised if he went Whiteside, depending on the workout.

All I know is I will never again doubt Petrie's decisions. Not all are perfect but most of them are. I'm just going to go with whatever.

I like Cousins and he might turn out to be a steal at 5, but I wouldn't be the least bit shocked if we took Monroe. Both players are athletic big men who can rebound and defend the rim. I like Monroe's great character, but I also like Cousin's GREAT upside. I really would be happy with either of these players. BUT, who knows what Petrie will do. I think trading Hawes was a fantastic move, because Hawes wasn't trying hard enough to better himself. I think Dalembert will be ok while a rookie big plays himself onto the 1st team roster. GO KINGS !! IN PETRIE WE TRUST !!! :D

Actually neither one of them would be considered an athletic big... Monroe is more finesse, and Cuz is a sherman tank... both slow and not great leapers.

To add.. how often do we hear of ANYTHING GP or the kings org is actually going to do personell wise? Almost never... All these articles on us taking Monroe leads me to believe we won't be taking him......

Both move up and down the floor well and are relatively athletic. Are they superstar athletic? Probably not. But both are being considered for a selection in the top 10 of the NBA draft. So I think they can both be considered athletic.:)

I trust Petrie but honestly whats the last good bigman that he has drafted. already traded hawes, thompson is a 7th man. we can't make any mistakes with a 5th pick.

So what your saying is Petrie is DUE !

Well that's what I"M saying! We will get a big-man, he's setting the stage for it. PS, if anyone wants to see a smidge of what's on GP's mind, just listen to Grant's show. Just a little something I've learned over the years.

I don't think Monroe makes sense for us. He's not the kind of player we need, at all. I mean, he could very well be a good player in this league, but his skill set doesn't seem to mesh well with our current team. Right now, most of the fan base wants Cousins, like Rubio last year. I can accept the fact that there's a pretty good chance we don't take Cousins, but make no mistake about it, Monroe is no Tyreke Evans. Many of us wanted to take Tyreke if Rubio was already picked, and some (not me) preferred him to Tyreke. Does anybody really want us to end up with Monroe? He's a princeton center, and we're not a princeton ball club anymore.

I think the rumors are getting WAYYYY out of control. Make no mistake, if Cousins is available at #5 the Kings are taking him. Theres simply no way in hell it doesnt happen.

I'm not a part of the Monroe fan club, but I wouldnt be disappointed if we drafted him...he doesnt suck by any means, from what I saw of him at G-Town...I doubt VERY seriously that he'd end up a bust. I think he will be a fine contributor wherever he lands up, be it here or where ever.
