Monarchs beat LA!

From cloud nine: I wish I was there at Arco....but if the M's advance, and we are half way there ;), I am so there!

Could they play any better? I think they can. Not everyone was spectacular, but as a team they were very very good....More comments after I get back to earth :D

I have never, ever, seen the Monarchs play with as much intensity, focus, heart, teamwork, and killer instinct as they played tonight in crushing the Sparks 72-52.

As a team, they were simply unstoppable. Now, if they go to L.A. and follow Yolanda Griffith's lead, they will eliminate the Sparks. Whether it takes 1 game or 2, Yolanda believes that the Monarchs can win. Apparently, her teammates have come to believe they can win. And, I have finally seen a Monarchs team that can win. All they have to do is continue on their path.

WTG - Monarchs!!!

..................now................

BEAT L.A.!!!

I sure hope the Monarch's have that killer instinct on Sunday. I'm sure they are getting tired of always getting beat by LA in the playoffs. This is your year Monarch's. Let beat LA!!

I'm going to echo you 6th, it was VEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEERY evident when I got to the Arena tonight that this team had a different mindset. And even more encouraging than that - they did not let up once the ball was tipped. Kara says they need to play better in LA. If they can play much better than that, well.....

They were sending a message with the black shoes. That was a very good look on them.

Major props to the production folks who did the pre-intro video, that was AWESOME!

C'mon M's.............Stay RELENTLESS!!!!!

Hell Yeah!!

Oh oh oh, 6th, Cutter, Slim....PM me, (yes 6th, I again need your addy). I have team posters for you if you want one.

Wow that was very impressive!!! Seeing LL frustrated was a thing of beauty!! They only made a few mistakes. They will have to play as good in LA on Sunday...

Very proud Monarchs fan!!:D

GO MONARCHS!!!!!! BEAT LA!!!!!

BTW... Lucky for you that were at the game... You didnt have to put up with the TV for ESPN2. It was awful to hear how they kissed the Sparks rear ends and making excuses instead of giving credit where it was due!!!!

Random musings:

*The black shoes thing is cute. I love when teams do things like that :D

* Full house of Kings: Mike, Bobby, Kevin Martin and Joe and Gavin were all there. That's nice to see the men supporting their sister team.

*Ditto what SK50 said about the broadcast....but its always like that, what else could you have expected.

* Confidence is a very beautiful and dangerous thing. This team is indeed confident. They really do believe. I don't know how nor why, but I do like it, espescially when it gives you preformances like it did last night.

* LA is going to come out like gang busters, Sunday will be fun.

* Demaya got hit. The Bee said she has a black eye....Did anyone esle see what she said to Yo walking back to the bench? She said she was going to.....well, she was going to do something not very nice to LL :D

No, I didn't notice what she said. What a wicked elbow by LL though. So, what else is new? All I want DeMya or anyone else to do "in retaliation" is to keep LL off her game and get her in early foul trouble. Having to sit on the bench is plenty bad enough for someone like Leslie.

Now, to borrow something from VF21, and change ever so slightly:

DIE SPARKS SCUM!!

The best retaliation?

ADVANCE

Stay focused and continue the mission! I don't give a crap where the next two games are played,

DO NOT LET THEM GET PSYCHOLOGICALLY BACK IN THIS SERIES. ON SUNDAY, LET THEM KNOW EARLY AND OFTEN THAT YOU GOT MORE OF WHAT YOU HAD FRIDAY NIGHT TO GIVE THEM AND THEN SOME.

STAY RELENTLESS!!!!

I was almost expecting when Brunson came in that she was going to be given a wink to lay out somebody herself. She set a DEVASTATING pick on Debbie Black when Connecticut came to town.

Just get another win and all will be forgotten.....
