Farewell Brandon Belt. Sigh. I don’t even know who this team is anymore. I mean, I get it, Belt is old and way past his prime, but it still stings a little.

and I’m gonna miss Belt. If the Giants are just going to have some average platoon dude there anyways, I’d have rather just kept him and let him retire a Giant in a season.

Somehow worked out perfectly for the Twins. Basically locked up Correa's prime and didn't have to shell out an extra 80 million overall and pay for his back-end years that probably wouldn't have been great.
