Yeah Ron has been in LA ever since the Rockets loss in the playoffs.
Basically he chose lakers over the Cavs because he wants to be in LA for the celebrities, show biz opportunities, record deal opportunities and the nightlife. He's been spotted clubbin many times and has been making the rounds on the radios promoting his music etc.
This is one of the reasons why I think Ariza was a better fit for the lakers than Ron. I think that deep inside Ron has a good heart, but he is the product of his enviroment and he is going to do these wacky things and be all into the showbiz side of things in LA rather than totally dedicate himself to basketball. The Ariza formula worked, so why change it. Dumb move by the lakers.
