Missing!

If anyone has seen or has any information regarding Bibby's jumpshot please contact Kings Coaching Staff. If you provide information leading to the recovery of Mike's shot there is a healthy reward!

Description: smooth, consistent, and usually found hanging out in the 4th quarter around buzzers!

In all seriousness though. I'm so happy to see us get a HUGE win without good shooting from Mike. Great passing makes up for mediocre shooting!

WORD! Or maybe just "WO". :D

just hope he finds it by playoff time. I remember 2 years ago when he went through a slump during the playoffs, and we lost to Dallas in the 2nd round.

hopefully he doesnt pull a steve nash and burn out by playoff time....

picks up bibbys defense....

*adds it to collection, with pejas playoff shooting, dougs game 7 3-point shooting, webbers healthy knee and the kings 2002-2004 championship aspirations*

thats a damn nice collection....

Hmm.... tell me if you have that winning jumper Bibby made against the lakers in the playoffs with a couple seconds left. That was the game before the "heartbreaker" (Robert Horry) i believe..

Man... if you have that one in your collection, i'd love to have it ;) that would sure help us out...

mike shoots wayyyyy to much! he should pass more often

even when hes having a bad game he keeps shooting instead of giving people that are hot he ball

Mike has been averaging 8.3 assist since the Webb trade. He's been distributing just fine.

Kobe was averaging 8 assists per game at some point also, and he doesn't shoot a lot?
I wasn't commenting on his shooting, I was commenting on the distributing.

But if you want to get into that type of thing here is the +/- stat over the last couple weeks from 82games.com (credit JSin for the link)

Ostertag +28.1
Martin +24.0
House +5.8
Songaila +3.2
Mobley +1.4
Williamson -0.3
Bibby -0.4
Evans -1.7
Thomas -2.3
Skinner -6.8
Stojakovic -16.3
Daniels -40.7

Yes, mikes poor shooting has been hurting the team but his distributing accounts for a lot of points too.

Does that mean that Ostertag and Martin are doing the best in their given minutes? Peja and House have obviously been playing the best these last couple of weeks and Peja is second last on that list. I am not saying Bibby is a bad passer, he's a great passer for our offense but he takes too many shots.

The only way to get out of a shooting slump is to keep shooting. I didn't hear any complaining when he was scoring 25 a game a couple months ago. He should be fine come playoff time! You just gotta have faith!

no... i accidentally traded it to a laker fan for bibbys nose fouling kobe, iverson crossing over lue in game 1 of the finals and doug christie punching rick fox... it seemed like a decent trade at the time but then we traded webber.... now we need it.... oh well.... maybe he'll hit some this year...

Quite a coup, considering Bibby's deal with the Roseville Auto Mall.

Hmm..could be industrial espionage -- maybe they kidnapped his jumper to sabotage the competition? ;)
