Does anyone else find it sad that a team like Portland can lose four out of five starters, go young, and already looks like a better team than us. They have rebuilt a playoff caliber team three times since the last time we made the playoffs, and they are a team that has been murdered by injuries to boot. Sad.

Interesting but not sad for Portland. More power to them. Sacramento hasn't yet found the answer. I agree, that is sad. Being a Kings fan for thirty years has prepared me for this. Thank god for sudokus.

Organizational stability and hiring coaches who run a system based on the strenghts of their core players. We are starting to have organizational stability but made a terrible coaching hire despite his sterling resume. His style of play does not go well with what Demarcus Cousins does best and it may end costing his prime being wasted trying to get the parts around him. Its a freaking shame.

Part of the reason for that is they can draft. Just go back and look at our drafts the past decade. It is infuriating that not only did we leave all-world talent on the board, but rarely do we even get a serviceable starter out of the opportunity.
