Miller Time

Entity

Hall of Famer
I know Webber has been awesome lately and Mobley is doing what i expected. Buuuut. Brad Miller is absolutley unconcious lately. (Right Now) He looks like the best shooter in the league he is going like 8-11 everynight and hitting jumpers like they are layups. I expect that to give the timberwolves problems given there inconsistant play at the center spot. I would love to see Peja play so Hassell would have a choice between Peja and the cat. This is going to be a good game Peja or no Peja.

Side note: I saw in another thread somebody said Webber is averaging 28 points and like 10 rebounds since Mobley arived. HMMM i said in the beginning that this trade would make Webber a better PF and push him up into the top 3 behind the 2 former MVP's if you ask me and i got scoffed at. Looks like i am getting some backers now.

Yah... Miller has been on fire. Lets hope he keeps it up.

Miller is a triple double threat every night. He was last year but isnt as much of one this year. I think he plays better at the F.

in the playoffs miller is likley gonna be guared by dampier steven hunter and nesterovic miller should take advantage of all of these guys.everytime he shoots i know hes gonna make it.by the way does anybody think we will make one more move before the deadline i was hearing monty yesterday and he thinks so and if u do who do u think we will get or give away

like i just said in another thread....he's actually looking to shoot the ball more...and i haven't seen him pass up an open jumper like at all over the past 3 games...he's had his hands ready to catch and shoot

yay!

ps- i really hope we aren't jinxing him...

i hope he has a good game today. he'll be matched up with the ancient evrin johnson.

KEEP IT UP BRAD!!!! I'M LOVING IT!

Not necessarily an "if P, then Q" situation. IMHO Webber was already a much better PF than you and some others wanted to admit. He is continuing to get stronger and stronger as the year progresses, which is something some of us actually predicted.

Don't get me wrong. I think Cat is proving himself night after night. His teammates are helping him integrate into the system and he's obviously a quick study. I just don't think there's any proof of direct correlation between his arrival and your claim that the trade has made Webber better. For all we know, Webb could have put up the same numbers with Doug at the SG.

Bottom line? We'll never know but it doesn't matter. We're within 1 win of where we were last year at this time, and there's room for improvement - especially when Mo and Pedja come back.

I LOVE this team!!!

:D

As far as Miller goes, to return to the topic at hand, I've been very impressed with his play the last few days. I think that gaping hole in his leg caused when he collided with Dwayne Wade may finally have healed properly. I remember reading somewhere it had been troublesome and slow to mend, and actually reopened a couple of times. Something like that would certainly slow him down.

GO BRAD!!!!!

Big props to Brad. He has, indeed, been on fire. Not passing on the open shots and knocking down a staggering percentage of those! Keep it up, big fella!

I remember that!! TNT reopened it and said that the wound was still bothering him. It was the Cleavland Cavs @ Kings where they reopened it.....;)

Miller with yet another big game. We really needed this king of play from Miller during this stretch when Chris and Peja aren't of good health.

Kings 1-0 When Webber, Pedja, Bobby and Mo DONT play.

The Celt comes up with the best sig I have seen to date.

From espn.com:

In his last four games, Miller is shooting better than 68 percent (41-for-60) from the floor.

GOOO BRAD!!!!!

any thread dedicated to my Brad...and people are praising him...is a favorite thread of mine....great game by Brad...he's been straight ballin over the past 4 games or so...i think that game in LA against the Clippers was like "rock bottom" for him...ever since then he's been CRAAAAAAZY

is someone making a late push for an all star spot ;)

KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK BRAD!!!!
Screw the All Star game. Nice props to b picked by the coaches (screw the popularity contest voteing) I'd rather see Brad, Mike, Pedja, and Webber resting for a week.

You know, the first couple of months of the season Brad had been disappointing -- he iwas a big cause of our board issues, been terrible inside defensively etc. Just hasn't looked like the same fierce competitior we had our there last year. But these last couple of weeks -- he's waking up. And now with Cat on the squad as well you figure he is going to be wide open for most of the rest of the year with all of our other offensive weapons demanding attention. He has a chance here o be VERy efficient and play entirely within himself.

Cat's presence has made the defenses honest. No more doubling down on our big guys. And when we pick and roll and both men go to double Bibby or Cat then the high post guy, either Webber or Miller, is inevitably open for a 15 footer. Only the Spurs have played this well and got a hand in the high post players face. Nice to see Brad faking the shot and then taking it to the hoop. Textbook.

Brad is the most unselfish player on this team. (by far). He sure deserves any spotlight that he gets. Has been great lately - since he decided that there is nothing wrong with shooting the basketball.
I wish him a great all-star weekend somwhere in the woods of Indiana.

oh i agree with ya. i just would love him to have the honor of being an all star, just not play in the game, even more so after what happened last year in the AS game. i feel the same with webber. he deserves the honor, but we need him more then the league does in one stupid game.
