"The Kings don't expect center Brad Miller to return until the second round of the playoffs, the Associated Press reports. Miller has been out since the beginning of March with a calf contusion and just as he was nearing his return, he broke his left leg. "

"Brian Skinner has filed in at center very admirably averaging close to 10 points and 10 rebounds per game. Hopefully Miller owners picked up Skinner and are milking him for all he's worth."

More great news. If the playoffs started today we'd play Seattle in the first round. No miller vs. Seattle= ouch

So I'm not sure that they either know or care whether Brad is back for Rnd1 or Rnd2 -- from their perspecive all they ae reporting on is that Skinner will be a good fantasy value for the rest of the regular season with Bard out.

Bricklayer I truly hope your right. But I check this site everyday for the latest and when they say it, it "usually" happens. "The news" portion is what they got from the associated press . "Our view" is in fact just fantasy crap that in hindsight I probably shouldn't have included. Oops.

Well the flipside is that Brad has really sucked against Seattle all season anyway -- Bump & Thump have just beaten him mentally, gotten under his skin, and he's lost his head and flipped out. Would rather have him back, but could make an argument for how Skinner and Thomas are better equipped emotionally to contend with thugs than Brad is. He loses his cool too easily.

I think it is preposterous to be worrying about the "second round" at this time. We will be damn lucky to survive the first round. So, whether Brad will be ready to play the second round seems purely academic to me. Last night's Denver Dunk Fest was alarming. Tapes of that awful game will be useful coaching tools.

It was a horrible game to watch. It'd be nice if the team stop taking days off, especially considering their precarious playoff seed. The effort just wasn't there, which is unacceptable.

Its only a fracture, not only that but it was non-displaced. Sometimes they say breaking something is better than spraining it BTW. The bone will heal in time. Most certainly in enough time by the second round WHEN the Kings make it.

appearently Brad is a week ahead of schedule. I heard this on he radio and im sure they got it from the paper.

Miller is in a soft cast now and said he will be begin shooting next week. Jackson said he still cannot bend his wrist up and down, his ligaments still healing.

Coach T was saying on the radio pregame show that Miller had received good news regarding his injury.

Nor sure what that means exactly.

all of this means that no one knows, brad, doctors, ra, or anyone in the kings organization. none of them can predict the future, so it's pointless to speculate. he'll be back when he's back, playoffs or next season. at this point, trying to piece together "evidence" is an exercise in futility and, let's face it, stupidity. if anyone knew anything for sure about brad's condition, it would have made a lot more news than the game notes on ap and a fantasy basketball website.
