Military Lt. attempts to win a car at Wolves vs. Kings during "Military Night" game

The rule is you have to make a half court shot to win a car. Since Lt. Mennicke did not make the shot, Kings co-owner Joe Maloof offered the car if Lt. Mennicke could make a free throw shot and he did. Very awesome gesture on Joe Maloof's behalf. We have the best owners not only in the NBA, but of all professional sports.

I also wanted to mention that I was able to take my parents to the game too. My dad is a Navy and Air Force veteran. We got to sit down and talk for a few minutes with another Navy veteran.
