Just listening to Jim Rome in the car and he is reporting that Melo wants out of New York. Dude is a total prima donna and I have serious reservations about his wanting to come play in Sac......BUT it would solve our SF problem as well as stopping all kingsfans.com threads about......Tyreke. Would I do it? If I was convinced Melo would give it his all while playing here. Would it take more than Tyreke? Duh. Well.....JT would be an attractive option, JJ would also be. But the most attractive package to offer with Tyreke would include.....Jimmer. He's a NY guy, and I could see the Knicks jumping all over a package of Reke and Jimmer for Melo. Hard to say if I would do it but at the very least it would give kingsfans.com somebody new to gripe about, as well as satisfy certain posters palate for wanting a big name move finally. Definitely something to think about.

Melo has that Marbury effect to him. The team that trades him away gets better and happier. His talent is insane, but his ability to play winning team basketball is horrible. He's a more talented and more infuriating Tyreke scenario. I'd be worried about pairing him with Cousins.

He is one of the biggest blackholes out there.

Call me crazy, but I want nothing to do with Melo. He's one of the most ball dominate players in the NBA. If you don't like the way some of our current players tend to dominate the ball, Your not going to be happy with Melo.

BINGO and he is as cancerous as a player can be. No thanks!

Great scorer but he is not all there.

Call me crazy, too. I wouldn't touch him with a 10 foot pole.

/thread. Same reason I was glad we didn't "land" Crawford. Same reason we should count our lucky stars we didn't trade for Ellis.

Holy **** D'Antoni just RESIGNED!

Guess Melo's stayin.

Yup. I really wouldn't want to take a chance on Melo, it'd take more than the Maloofs mowing his lawn anyway. Prolly have to pay an 'escort' to do it. Topless.
