Mavs vs Spurs - Game 6

Mavs with a 25-20 lead after one quarter. Josh Howard with 9 of those points. Mavs are undefeated this year when Josh Howard gets 20+ points (22-0, I think). Good sign for the Mavs thus far.

Duncan not playing like he did in the last game, but it's still early. Hopefully the the Spurs took inspiration from the Pistons and won't give up without a fight.

I'll say it again......totally classless act by the Dallas fans to boo Finley every time he touches the ball. He didn't choose to leave that team, he was cut as a financial move by Cuban. Hell, we gave Vlade a 10 minute standing ovation and he CHOSE to leave the Kings for the friggin' Lakers.

Again, just another reason to hate the Mavs.

Ha, no offense to some Dallas fans on here... but its just immature acts of them.. to be honest Dallas fans are probably some of the rudest out there. Not to all of you. They don't think about what Finley did for their team and yet they boo him. Immature. and sad. I don't care if the Spurs eliminated us, or won a championship in the last three years, but I'd rather have a team thats respectful to the other team win it all. Even if they won like 10 championships. Duncan, Tony, Ginobili, everyone on that team is respectful and not dirty in any way. They're just a good team that doesn't give up. Exactly why I'm rooting for the Spurs. Go spurs.

You do know that Bruce Bowen plays for the Spurs, don't you?? ;)

Sorry to bring up Adelman again but could you see him pulling his best player in the final seconds on a crucial play because he didn't think it was a good matchup???? Pop did and it was the right choice.

Good riddance Rick and hopefully we can get a coach who can coach a TEAM instead of catering to his "star" players.

Oh geez.

Could you just give it a rest? This thread isn't about Adelman, Ryle. You can quit gloating now. He's gone. You're really gonna have to find someone else to hate.

Go Spurs...

Cuban's reaction at the end was priceless.
Not to beat a dead horse but they way the Mavs fans have reacted to Finley has totally disgusted me and I hope the Spurs literally beat the crap out of the Mavs and in the end Cuban can eat ****.

Finley showing up his old team, for like, the 4th or 5th time in the series. Great win for Spurs, and another game 7. Looked like the Spurs I know in the 2nd half.

THREE game sevens coming up, sick

Yipee! Ginobili's statement is right! Now go beat up the Mavs.

All games are 'Game 7'

Underdogs:

Mavs and Cavs

Top Seeders:

Spurs and Pistons

Prediction:

Cavs and Spurs win. Will meet in Finals......

Check my posts......I don't think I have "gloated" since he has been technically fired unless it's about what Mike Lamb said on the radio.
Don't know that I agree, but that wasn't really my point.

No one forced you to bring Adelman into the conversation, and consequently, I sincerely doubt you're "sorry" for it.

Strange game to watch, and shades of being a Kings' fan a few years ago. The Mavs have more talent (just like the Kings), but the role players (JHoward, Daniels, Dampier, Diop) are relatively inexperienced and have not yet been able to deliver in games 5 or 6 to help the Mavs close out the series. Now the Mavs face the Spurs in game 7, and I'm hoping for the sake of their fans (and my sake since I detest the Spurs) that they don't follow the path of the Kings against the Lakers in close out games.

Poor Mark Cuban. I wonder who he's going to blame for tonight's game...

I hope the Spurs fans rise to the occasion and blast the Mavericks right out of San Antonio with their tails between their legs.

GO SPURS!!!

Only reason I am sorry is that the majority of this board wanted him fired back in January when the team sucked and then all of the sudden he was the best coach in the league in April......at least I was consistent...:D

I was just pointing out what a good coach really does when the game is on the line......he coaches the game instead of catering to his "star" players.
