[Game] Mavericks @ Kings 11/30 7PM PST 10PM EST

Good to see a little emotion from Karl

Still want WCS in there with Cousins

It's not really a lack of control if he's hands-off. If Cousins were terrible from three on the season that would be one thing, but he's actually been very good (this game and by recollection one or two others excepted).
He's just over 35 percent on the season; he's missed 35 of the 52 threes he's made on the season. I don't suppose you happen to know how many of those 35 misses we recovered the offensive rebound on? I'm going to guess not many, since our best rebounder would be the guy shooting the threes.

At some point, the head coach has to be less hands-on, presuming that that's what he's doing, and be more proactive, rather than reactive. You say that Cousins takes a ton of threes in warmups, and I'm in no position to challenge that. But I still put that on Karl. Either he agrees with Cousins taking a bunch of threes, in which case, bad coach. Or, he disagrees with Cousins taking a bunch of threes, but is unwilling to stop him, in which case, bad coach.

The 3s are not falling but the spacing is there

It's an ugly game for Cousins, but the kick is he is not turning it over 8 or so times

I like the release and balance the 3 gives to his game

We miss a ton of open shots every game too. I think we'd win at least 1/2 the games we loss if we made our open shots.

edit: not to mention our horrid FT shooting throughout the year

Right now, Cousins is the team leader tonight in: points, rebounds, assists, blocks and turnovers.
And 3 point shots taken... :-/

Overreaction with the 3s guys

Cousins is a +21

As much as they are missing open shots, Cousins has had a positive impact despite his shooting woes

It's all about the attention he draws. That's the real value of superstars. They of course put up monster numbers, but there sheer presence on the floor makes everything much easier for everyone else. Night and day Difference.

Considering that this team's strengths isn't shooting I'm not really sure what you are expecting. They will have a game or two where they shoot well but what team can't do that from time to time?

Guys, I'm convinced that if we had a fully healthy team, we'd be a good team. Carlise has the Mavs at 10-7 with a 4 guard lineup..
