im not a huge fan of grabbing beasley or williams, although they would both be upgrades over salmons. Beasley is still a very versatile player, but he is still a tweener for sure. But i havent seen him enough to fully judge, i think he can stroke the 3 right? does he play any d?

and i know williams is also a dude who maybe can be a good player with the right team/coach to bring out his potential, but there just arent any guarantees. he could very well be another over payed severly mediocre sf which we already have too many of as it is.

I wouldn't go that far. He would be a significant improvement over what we've been trotting out at the 3 all season. Low risk high reward. I don't think it'd cost much to get him.

But yes, ideally a defensive minded 3 would be a better fit. You have one in mind that we could get right now on the cheap? I dont think any are readily available. If it doesn't work out you don't extend the QO for next season.

Ya I wonder what his attitude is like nowadays as well, but I think his skill set could make us a good team. Beasley would replace Thornton in the lineup, fixing the size problem and no PG problem without losing the scoring threat. Isaiah, Evans, Beasley, Cousins and JT would just dominate the boards all day too.

But that all depends on Beasley having a good attitude and reaching some of his potential... not likely. Still, he's a a 45% career FG shooter. That's promising and much better than anyone on our team.

Beasley wouldn't last 6 months before he was suspened for drug violations. No way he passes up the nor cal weed. How stoned is he in this picture?
