Sheesh. The county is *giving* the city the ability to use county parking lots, and she's upset that the city is giving back about 1/7 of the money? *boggle*
I'm pretty sure that land belongs to the Maloofs anyway though.

Sheedy is clueless, and largely irrelevant. She's an embarrassment for an outsider like myself to look at - she has no idea about anything. I wouldn't even waste my time being pi**ed about her if I were you. Makes life much easier to ignore people like that.

I'd say she wasting everyones time because she clearly hasn't read through the entire proposal and is asking questions most here know the answer to, yet it's her job to know the answers, not ours.
She's been this clueless in every meeting.
Sometimes things are better left being thought without being said. The guy looked like a lunatic. His comments were disrespectful and infantile. People like Mike and the rest of #FANS have worked way too hard to have a Kings "fan" step up and say stuff like that. There were tons of legitimate logical arguments without resorting to insults, etc.

Nah I am not mad at her and I don't hate her, but I think she is being an idiot, and like I said earlier the only difference between myself and someone like VF is that I could call her on it rather than just keeping it to myself.
Sometimes you have to let someone know they are being stupid or they wont learn. I think she is that type of person. I am not the smartest tool in the shed and even I know she's being idiotic.
I'm not sure but if one of those was a horse ranch or whatever, if I head correctly, that is probably the owner's decision to sell it. Unless it's city owned. But that's a pretty small amount of money to complain about compared to everything that's being contributed and raised total.

yeah, I know. I'm just so afraid of something happening at the very last minute to kill this whole thing. Worrying more is one of the things I like least about growing old.
There's a time and a place for everything. IMHO it's not the right time right before a critical and crucial vote that so many have worked so hard on to get to.
I guess I'm too old-school. I believe in respecting elected officials in public meetings, even if you don't agree with them.

the city owns land around the arena in natomas too. Like the hole in the ground where the football/baseball stadium was being started.
But if they sell the land they are turning into a bigger project. No different than selling 10 .25 acre lots and using the money to buy a single lot for the same amount.

Not when she's being a troll. But I see where you are coming from. I believe the votes wont change no matter what anyone says though. I think they were already counted before the meeting even started. I would have actually been there too if I was home tonight. Alas I am in the Bay area for the week. =/
