We were the darling this year and stopped being a laughing stock already. Than the 3 stooges acted.
I don't even think Gay would ask about Malones job. He wouldn't think someone is dumb enough to fire a coach everyone loves and showed his defensive genius post all star break.

Cousins is saying on the radio that there will be a faster pace and more motion in the new system.
(Says we will have the same defensive system).
This team is a turnover machine with a slower pace. It's hard to believe that the passing- challenged Kings are going to decrease the TOs with a faster pace or more motion.

Bad combo to work with. The defense was mostly propped up by playing a more controlled style of offense. The defensive itself is incredibly ineffective in it's use of over helping and allows too many open 3's.

I think "consulted" implies an opinion was asked. No way the FO asked Cousins for his opinion on this move.

The tweets didn't say anything about him being consulted, just being informed in advance about the firing

I'm not daring, I'm asking you to because anyone who responds "that's two (warnings)" instead of backing up their statements clearly cares more about their mod powers than the purpose of a forum, unless of course you see the purpose of a forum as being a big circlejerk where differing views and no ability to argue against them other than ban threats is the way to go about things.

They are going to change to a new system, same defensive schemes, but faster paced offense.
No set timeline when will be back in games. Has his own personal goal, but not sure when he'll be ready.
Everybody came in and new what happened, FO told them to stay together and we'll get over this hump.
He's not gonna get down on this team because of a rough patch, plenty of time to get on the right track. learn from mistakes.
this was more of a surprise than other firings of coaches, unexpected. More emotional than the past, because a lot of the guys really believed in Malone and his sytem.
Knows Karl is a good coach. But says he has no clue who the next coach will be.
Ultimately, he seemed defeated, but he seemed ready to lead our team. He knows this is his team. Sad to hear him say how much our team believed in Malone and how this one was the most emotional and unexpected firing. It blindsided him.

How unfreaking proffesional is this? They haven't even released an official statement. It's either just incompetent or cowardice. Probably a little bit of both.
Cut them some slack; it's their first firing.
