this was more of a surprise than other firings of coaches, unexpected. More emotional than the past, because a lot of the guys really believed in Malone and his sytem.
Knows Karl is a good coach. But says he has no clue who the next coach will be.
Ultimately, he seemed defeated, but he seemed ready to lead our team. He knows this is his team. Sad to hear him say how much our team believed in Malone and how this one was the most emotional and unexpected firing. It blindsided him.
