Yes please!'!!!
Game thread people are mostly lunatics.Malone is definitely more popular on this thread than he is in the game threads.
Then why in the world did Vivek hire him?"Malone’s background is defense, while Ranadive would prefer a more exciting offense, sources said"

Interesting:
Malone had disagreed with ownership's pursuit of a Josh Smith trade in July, and made his position known to Ranadive, league sources said. Ranadive joined D'Alessandro in talks with theDetroit Pistons, but no agreement was ever reached.

Viveck is seriously playing with fire.
There has been a steady steam of rumblings and some press that he's some degree combination of naive and/or eccentric as well as a meddling owner.
Before this year, a large chunk of the fan-base chose to just stop caring about this team after years of neglect and abuse. People were staring to come around, and he serve up a big dose of "Yup, same old Kings" to the casual fan and loop them into the "The new owner may be bonkers" conversation.
We did the blind loyalty thing since the mid-80s. The last guys burned that bridge for a long time. In fact, some of the die hards are burnt harder than most because they blindly followed them & KHTK to the bitter end. If Viveck keeps this up, this town will turn on him in a nasty way sooner than you think.
We are very grateful that he saved the team and the new shinny building. We'd rather he turn it around and stay ... but we're not dealing with another decade of incompetent ownership.
He declined revenue sharing to get the team. The cap is going up to around 90 million and the team has to spend at least 90% of that figure? He's got a tight lease and we just put up 2/3 of an arena. He keeps screwing this up and it will get rough fast in 2-3 years.

The article is worrying as can be. Den/GS part II is the plan.
So the Kings options are Ty Corbin (present) and Vinny Del Negro (future).Adrian Wojnarowski ✔ @WojYahooNBA
Another long-term candidate to monitor for the Sacramento Kings coaching job, league sources tell Yahoo Sports: Vinny Del Negro.
Why? Because he won so much in Denver? Because his style fits our star? Because his personality is such a good fit?
Vivek is a moron.Interesting:

This was the right decision, although the timing is crazy. The organization want to win now, and this sends that message. Our record might be better than we all expected, but it should be better than it is. Once Cousins went out, it was clear that his coaching decisions were questionable at best, especially his rotations. He is responsible for a lot of the losses in which we could have won. Ultimately PDA noticed the same horrible coaching that was being displayed, and instead of dragging it out, they just pulled the trigger. It took nerve but like I said, it sends a message to the players. Mediocrity is not acceptable, and unfortunately Malone was the epitome of that. Now if we can only do something about Sessions and JT.....
