Magloire still an option if GP moves fast

Yes, you've said that without much to back it up on several occasions now.

I've said that on several occasions? I don't remember that.

I don't have much reasoning to back it up. He's just never struck me as an "impact player". Yes, he did make the all-star team that one year, but so has Miller. Maybe the Kings will sign him and he'll prove me wrong.

No interior defense/rebounding = no hope of victory.

Brad's offensive game might make some sense, or at least be an interesting thought, if it were actually something that could be counted on when it mattered, which its not. But its the important big man stuff where he and the rest of the frontcourt is a disaster in there.

Total # of non-rebounding, non-defending, jump-shooting centers/frontcourts to win rings since I have been watching basketball...zero.

Tend to agree there.

I agree, but I am more asking if a Tyson Chandler/Magloire front court for example would be the best option. I think that compliments itself about as much as ours does now. One extreme to the other. I think Brad's offense will come around when he finds his way in a new system. I mean the whole team changed so much when we traded for Ron. He does need to step it up for sure, and I am willing to see how he fits with this new team. If he doesn't it will be obvious and he needs to go.

#1 we need shotblocking, no question, but I am also worried that our offense would stall too much without Brad basically adding 20 points a game through assists and jumpshots. Our offense bogged down a lot last season and that allowed other teams to take advantage in crucial minutes and go on runs. I'd be all for a shotblocker next to Brad, that is the best option to me.

We need a prescence, period. We don't have one. then we need another defensive big behind Brad or whoever. Which can be gotten with the number of options out there.

I think if we sign Songaila Brad could be gone. don't see the logic in improving our interior defense by possibly having SAR/Brad/Songaila/Pot as our FC. Yikes to the max, and more. :)

I really like Magloire. He's a solid defender and awsome rebounder. He's not too bad offensively either... Only thing is that he would want to start which I'm perfectly fine with.
