...but unfortunately it looks like they're going to look at FAs and trade candidates that fit their newly granted injury exception, with which they can only take back $2.7 million in salary, I think.

Not sure what the rules are with these, but I don't think you can combine them with other players. If you could, of course, that would be nice, as they have several expirings that I'd swap any day for a KT, SAR, Moore, or even Miller.

Update: just read on, and no, you can't combine with a player. Which renders this new development useless for us, unless they get so desperate that they are willing to swap expirings for one of our dead weight big men.

OK, GP better ring them up. I might, and this is a huge might, be willing to trade Miller for Howard. He's young and talented so maybe they'll give him up. Although, Orlando would certainly be coming out on top with this trade. They might have to throw in a few other young guys to make salaries work?

Orlando has no attractive trade pieces other than expiring contracts, now that Turkoglu is likely off the table.

Due to their injury exception, a trade of Miller for Arroyo and Garrity would work. Orlando gets their big man, the Kings get a true point guard, and salary of the books next year if they don't keep either player.

Why on earth they didn't resign Milicic, and overpaid an underachiever chucker like Lewis, while they already had Hedo in the 1st place ? Though i must say both Milicic and Howard are a bit redundant offensively, but they're complement each other nicely in defense.
