They won’t veto it. Anthony Davis is a current all star averaging 26-12. This isn’t like when the Lakers were acquiring superstars for the corpse of Andrew Bynum.

They could’ve got a lot more draft picks elsewhere but unlikely a better active player in return.

They also aren’t trying to sell the Mavericks

AD is about to 32 and everyone with a pulse knows this trade is Nike-backed thermonuclear garbage. Even Shams tweeting it had to say he wasn’t hacked. I obviously know this isn’t the same as the CP3 trade but it still needs to be vetoed if there’s any interest in keeping the NBA from turning into pro wrestling
