Looking for a place to watch the Kings

High everyone,

I am in Sac this evening on buisness and I am looking for a fun place to watch the Kings play this evening. Any recommendations on where to go?

Thanks

cary

It would help to know what area you are looking for, but two places I recommend are the Palm Street Pub & Grill at the corner of Fair Oaks. Blvd. and Marconi Ave. in Carmichael. Really nice, friendly atmosphere. And I've never been to Players on Sunrise Blvd., but the people here seem to like it.

Depends where you are and how far you want to drive.

Players Pub on Sunrise Blvd near Fair Oaks is a good place to watch a game.

Re: place to watch the kings tonight

Hmm... to be a bit more specific, I don't mind driving out of the downtown area (thats where my hotel is). But I was hoping for some decent pub grub, an enthusiastic crowd, and a decently large screen or screens to watch the game on.

I was thinking something within 10-15 miles at most from the downtown...

Thanks.

Palm Street would be within 10 miles, Players would be a little bit farther. There is also a place I believe it's on Folsom Blvd. called Hoppy Brewing Co., that would be even closer to downtown. There's also at least one or two sports pubs in Old Sacramento, but I don't know what they're called.

i haven't been in sac for awhile...but isn't there a place near arden...expo...

called bleachers? or something?

theres alwas tons of people and tons of tvs, one main huge screen, and lots of tasty food.

but you'd have to get there pretty early to get comfortable, cuz it used to be the place to be

That's been closed for years now, or at least the one on Expo is. Some kind of restaurant now. It sure was the happening place for Kings game.

wow. thanks for the update. had no idea. strange that it closed when it was always extremely packed =\
