I'm sure he meant it symbolically - not that he intended that the thread actually be deleted from the forum - more like the Kings' thoughts of making the playoffs this year should be deleted (after the outrageous last 5 losses).

Utah winning again, Portland won again. Four losses back of Utah and it could get worse before all star break. Crazy how we were the eight seed almost a week ago and now are four games out. Utah is healthier and playing their gritty style. Portland plays hard and pace and spaces you to death. It could get out of reach considering that brutal stretch we have coming up.

That stretch in December when Utah was slumping when Gobert, Burks and Favors were out was the time we had to make a move, we made one but at the very tail end(why we had the eighth seed for a few days). So many missed opportunities, just a frustrating team.

They need to win 2 of the next three to at least salvage some playoff hope going into all star break.

This is HUGE! I wonder if they seek a trade to take Kosta off of our hands? More than likely they try to steal Mosgov from Cleveland.

No way? NO way? With what has already gone on with this franchise, you cannot make a statement like that until all mathematical possibilities are eliminated.

Don't underestimate how big of a deal that Gasol is to their success. Not only is he a good defender but he also helps facilitate their offense. Without him, who guards the 5's? How much does it weaken their already weak bench?

No doubt, Memphis will go on a slide. They will drop to 7 or 8 seed.

But the Kings have a brutal stretch from Late Feb, early March. I just don't see this team being 9 games better than Memphis with 30 to go. They still have some talent on that roster.

I expect Mike Conley to be their main source of offense now and keep their heads afloat.

We are not making the playoffs.... we are a sinking ship folks (I reserve to the right to change my thoughts with any trades going down). Utah/Portland aren't gonna hand that spot over and you know what? Good for them, nice job on doing things the right way and playing hard each night. I can admire that from afar. We have a tough part of the schedule coming up and considering that we have been getting slaughtered by the worst/less than average teams in the league, I have given up the playoff hope in order to spare myself further heartache. It's not going to happen. When the going gets tough, the Kings wilt away. We don't want it, we just simply don't want it. Nor do we deserve it.

If Koufos could bring back Lee and Barnes it would solve a lot of the Kings defensive wing issues......at the price of helping Memphis.

Tyreke is having surgery and that should end any discussion of the Pelicans making a run. Also, it should end any speculation about him in trade talks. The guy just doesn't have the wheels to stay healthy in this league with his style of play.

This is true and KK hA history there also Mosgov would be getting a new contract I'm sure they'ed want KK cause he's locked in.

Our best player is a big man. Our biggest problem is nobody on the perimeter can shoot a 3 ball consistently. Yes our defense is absolutely horrible. However, if we had an all offensive team that could shoot the 3 ball well, we would probably be 7th seed at the very least.
