It's kind of early to be thinking about that but the "Seattle Sonics" wanted to sign Jackson, so why not the Kings?

The thing is though that it's not going to happen. If Jackson came back he wouldn't coach a team that's in the building process. I am in a good mood so I will keep things civil in this thread as much as I want to grab the flame suit from the closet.

Best thread you started ever. It would bring credibility to this organization regardless if he came in as coach or President of Basketball operations. The man has 10 championship rings. You'd be a fool not to listen to what he has to say if he were in charge.

Ranadive has a Jerry West connection. Jerry West of course is the man that brought Phil Jackson to the Lakers. It could happen. I would think he'd rather be in California than Canada. It's a big splash kind of a move and we could use a few of those right now.

PJ has health problems that make coaching uncomfortable, and he has said is is interested in GM work. Big IF here but IF the Kings got PJ to Gm then you are alsmost guaranteed to get Byron Scott as coach for better or worse. Im not saying I oppose the idea, but I would like to see a more hard nosed Defense approach like Sloan or J. VanGundy as coach.

Phil has never worked as exec. Krause and Kupchak controlled presonnel decisions. They obviously asked for Phil's advise but his role was secondary. Plus he wants 100% autonomy, which might not be a problem, and a stake in the team, that actually poses a problem with the way ownership group formed and the fact they will only control 65% at first.
