Life is good! Minneapolis is a REALLY nice city, it's no Sacramento though ;) but what is? It's starting to get COLD here, it's supposed to snow this week and I am just not used to that!

Anyone awake tonight? I have lots of homework to catch up on, so I will be up a while.. :rolleyes:

My mom just called...they were on their way home from the airport after spending a week in Hawaii. She had to rub it in.."Oh it was 88 degrees all week..hahaha." Thanks a lot mom.:mad:

Pungent Dreams
Two nights ago, I dreamed that I had found a revolutionary cure for headache. Garlic. Not to eat of course, since that can trigger a migraine, but to put in one's ears. That's right, in the dream not only did one clove of garlic per ear kept the vampires (and my husband) away, it made the pain go away (and acted as earplugs).

Bizarre, but not much crazier than other treatments I've tried.

I'm with you, treewoman. We got just enough rain for them to lift some of the restrictions on the Plumas. CDF still hasn't declared an end to fire season but it looks like we've made it through another year.

Lol - I am having quite the vision of you all with garlic in your ears! My loony great-aunt tried wearing melon-balls between her toes to cure sinus issues once (she is my hero), sadly, it didn't work.

Yep through another fire year. Now it's time to rake, rake, rake
 
My dad gets cramps in his legs while sleeping and someone told him to put a bar of Ivory soap under the sheets down by his feet...he swears by it!!
 
Almost done with the hw, it's almost 4:30 in the morning! Oh midterms..

VF- I have NEVER lived in snow before- been in Sacramento all my life, so besides the occasional visits to Tahoe, I have no snow experience. I just went to the mall (the mall of AMERICA to be exact :)) to buy a warm coat. But I will take your advice on the layers.

Hoopsfan- hope the headache goes away, those are the worst :(

I decided to make tonight a studying night- Friday night, lame I know.. but I am too tired to do much else, and it's too cold to go out in my opinion..
