Lakers win, Suns lose.

Both upsets. I'll take the Phoenix loss, we can probably catch the Lakers on our own, but we'll need plenty of help getting close to phoenix.

how bout the pistons getting drilled by the jazz....thats always a good thing...

I was quite surprised when I turned it on and saw the Jazz up huge... Pistons were playing 2nd of a back-to-back, and may of took them lightly.

Suns losing isn't a big surprise, Hornets are a pretty good team, and Paul rules.

lakers looking better and better is because of PJ and the past few games kobe don't take as many shot as usual, he is more into assist except last night game. It's a good thing suns lose, any team from pacific lose except kings is always a good thing :D

Am I kidding that the Lakers own the Mavs? Seriously? Even last year, the Lakers nearly took 3 from them.

Oh, for a second I forgot the lakers played the mavs and thought you were saying they owned the suns...nevermind

This year is crazy. Bad teams are playing well, good teams are playing bad.....upsets all over the place. I like not knowing the outcome before the tipoff.

N/m. I do know that the Mavs have been taking LA for granted since Shaq left. Bites them in the butt. They can't afford to do that noting the lack of defense they play and their softness.

Wow on both. Does it seem like there are more "upsets" this year?
haha, yeah, it does seem like there are more upsets. it's like "the year of the underdog". the clippers, warriors are on top of the division. and the hawks won TWO in a row..against the world champs and lebron.

The Lakers have won 5 of 6 on the road, beating the Mavs and Memphis along the way. Pretty good trip. They are starting to get the system. Jackson CAN coach!!!

Did a little research on the last few times we've won at least 5 of a 5/6 gamer or did at least 5-1 in a row on a 6+ gamer.

Last time they went at least 5-1 was a 6-0 trip in 2/00. Before that, they won all 5 of a 5 gamer in 1/91. Before that, they went 5-1 to close out an 8 game trip in 12/89. Before that, they went 5-1 on a 6 gamer 20 years ago.

Semi-quasi fairly OK trip. ;) And there was only one pushover on the whole trip.

The only bad part about that is if I'm not mistaken, they have a better road record. I hope they can capitalize in their next few home games. Kwame off the bench is working out. Who would have thunk Sasha would improve so much? And Smush... woohoo, talk about heart!

Kwame Brown has finally found his heart and Odom his brain. Credit Jackson or Jabbar? I don't know. But whatever it is, it's working. The Lakers will win 50 barring injuries, that's for sure. Who would have thunk before the season that the Kings would be on pace for a sub-.500 record and the Lakers would be on pace for an over-.500 record? Nevermind, I did. ;)

I'm sorry, but this on pace for over/under .500 theory is rediculous. Two games doesn't mean Kwame found his heart, he will crawl back under a rock soon.

That's true. That said, I'm right and you're wrong, Kwame has found his heart. Bump this if I'm wrong. ;)
