Theo Ratliff injured and Bynum still out the lakers are looking for a ready now big man. Since we are looking to trade Thompson, why not make a offer for Ebanks. Ebanks showed promise in summer leauge and looked great in college.

I still get pissed when I think of Memphis Trading Gasol to the lakers. The Grizzlies took back the expiring contract of Kwame Brown, rookie Javaris Crittenton, two No. 1 picks and the draft rights to Marc Gasol.

Crittenton = Mateen, and those draft picks in 2008 and 2010 were really practicly second rounders.

At that time Crittenton was actually seeing quite a number of minutes and looking promising for the Lakers. Of course I would still rather have Pau than everything that the Grizzlies got in return, but in hindsight it wasn't as lopsided a trade as it was once thought to be.
