Pretty much with a better approach to defense with alot of teams out west not looking up to snuff, this team has a great oppurtunity to get some quality W's early on. Next time we meet LA I really hope PW learns his lesson and sticks Reke on Artest..

First off, who's genius idea was it to stick Reke on Kobe? You know he's going to get fouls called on him because he reaches too much. Second, where was Omri in this one? He barely played at all, all the minutes went to Head. Head was chucking and chucking, he made some good defensive plays, but man he shoots way too much.

I'm not sure if I blame Landry for sucking so much in the second half or if I blame Westphal for leaving him in.... regardless, it was a good showing for us. Lakers were playing their A game and though it was never really that close, it was close enough to give us a glimmer of hope towards the end. If we played like that against everyone else we'd make the playoffs.
