Hoopsie, I have often wondered how we get along. ;) Lakers and Dodgers? Couldn't be worse. Since I am a Kings and Giants fan, I must say...

BEAT LA!!

I've been chanting that at Kings Games, and at Giants games even longer. Oh, hell. I luv ya anyway. :)

Love ya right back, 6th!

and......

GO BLUE! :p

Well said as always Hoopsie!:) I think one funny moment was when we were leaving after the game we ran into one of my fiancee's friend's that was a Laker fan, she was 'poppin' her Kobe jersey like all the rest, then she told me to take off my Miller jersey I had on 'because it was all about the Lakers, yeah baby!'. lol I jokingly said back to her, I paid alot of money for this, and I've spent alot of blood sweat and tears supporting my team for the last 25 years. She looked at me kinda funny then. She also has a little baby girl on the way, I then told her, when the baby comes, buy her a Magic Johnson or Byron Scott throwback jersey and not a trendy Kobe one, because those were truely classy Lakers, and I respect that. She was surprised I said that I think. lol

Thanks again.... and my throwback jersey is a blue and white Jerry West. The one with the cursive Los Angeles on the front. (I don't really wear jerseys, but thought that one looked cool...it's sewn on...no cheapa** screen printed ones!)

I generally don't buy player items...I get team items. Players come and go, but I stick with my team through thick and thin.

Lest I be thought of as an ungrateful fan, I must appreciate Donte Greene for generously contributing towards the building of the new arena.

Thanks for the bricks buddy!

I'll never forget the last Kings game I went to at Staples with my girlfriend where Kings pretty much dominated the Lakers the entire game and ended up winning by 8. A middle-aged man with 2 kids was sitting in front of us. I cheered a lot cause the Kings were rolling, so this guy stood up, turned around, and said I better sit my *** down or something and he clinched his fist and pulled back to punch me but didn't. Security saw and I forgot what happened, but they spoke to us if I remember correctly and I just stopped cheering unless it was an amazing play.

When the game ended, he turned to me and said, "You better hope you make it out of here alive." I'm pretty sure he only had a single beer, but he looked trashed. It was a fun night to say the least.

Spencer seems to be getting better from week to week. Another 20/10 game tonight, and he looked pretty comfortable doing it. I thought he held his own against Gasol, and thats pretty impressive for any 20 yr old.

Sorry to detract, but I thoroughly enjoyed the half time show. Though Kevin didn't play, it was a nice tribute by a local guy. He grew up in the Elk Grove area I believe.

It was nice knowing you Donte, I doubt we'll see ya here next season.

Hoopsie, you rock!:) I think I still have my newspaper clippings that I used to have up on my wall as a kid with coach Phil Johnson, Reggie Theus, Eddie Johnson, Joe Kleine, Mike Woodson and former Laker Larry Drew. I even think I still have my Mark Olberding t-shirt in storage somewhere, along with my Wayman Tisdale and Danny Ainge shirts. See, they just dont make true Kings/NBA...and LAKER fans like they do on this board! Thanks again for always being true with us on this board Hoopsie!

Thanks for the kind words, Circa! :)

I've always enjoyed coming to this board. I like it so much that it's the only board I contribute to, even though I am a member on a few Laker boards. I figured, what the heck....you guys are cool and you're local...why not support that?? :)

I was at the game. Most of the Lakers "fans" were just wannabe thugs and gangbangers. LA must be proud that their fans in Sacramento constitute the bottom - or scum, if you will - of society.

How do you know this, he's barely 20 years old in just his 2nd season?? There were people last year calling him a bust at 19 as a freaking rookie when he wasn't even getting any PT behind Miller. I think we'll see a lot more maturation next year too, much like this year.

Calling people scum because they grew up in a rough neighborhood and act a different way that you aren't used to? Don't be ignorant man.
