KT on the air with Lamb/Napear

I never said that.

Yeah, but given the players you listed, you sure as hell implied it. And the 2 players Grant and Mike have been big supporters of this year? Bonzi and Shareef. You didn't mention that.

Grant was always high on Bobby except for that incident you mentioned. Was Grant wrong? I think so, given what I remember about the situation, but it was his opinion. He's not out there making player decisions, he's a freaking radio talk-show host. Get over it - if he (and some of the callers) didn't have controvertial opinions once in a while, nobody would listen. They are paid by KHTK to entertain and inform, in that order. He isn't a representative of the Kings when he's doing the show - there is a big difference between his radio work and his TV work.

No doubt.

It started with Chris Webber and the Michigan situation
Then Napier starts the whole "Bobby Jackson should have tried to play in the playoffs while injured crap".

But he cuts slack with the guys he loves. Scot Pollard, Peja Stojakovich, Jon Barry, Brad Miller, Greg Ostertagg. Do you see the pattern. I am trying not to assume anything, but I call it as I see it. Grant Napier has bias towards certain players, and contempt with others.

I agree; Grant is ridiculous with his bias toward some players. He still uses every opportunity he gets to take a swipe at C-Webb. And he couldn't climb any further up Peja's booty.

Regarding the KT interview, I don't think Grant and Lamb were far off on their comments, it was the back pedaling when KT called that was hilarious. I'm still chuckling about the "I'm out." That made my day.

No I understand, and I will fess up that I was implying race, tongue in cheek.

But I will say that Napier is and was a huge Peja and Vlade supporter and apologist and it shows big time. As a credible journalist you can not show that kind of bias towards a group of players that are your friends, that you eat lunch with on the road, and a sense of contempt towards a group of players that are not your friends, and will not give you the time of day. You lose creditbillity.

Unfortunately as an employee of the Kings during the game and an employee of 1140 not during the game, Grant Napier is serving two masters, it is a huge conflict of intrest, which leads to talking out of both sides of your mouth, which Napier is the king of. He says that he respects Chris Webber and that Chris treats his kids as if they were his own, but then rips the guy constantly and refers to Webber as a cancer. THAT IS A HYPOCRITE!!!

I don't mind controversy, I can not stand two-faceness. And I think Kenny Thomas was catching Napier in a two-faced moment.

I think a lot of fans are missing one key item. KT's demeanor has always been a bit "distant". He does not show emotion on the court, which is where we see him 99% of the time, and has always looked "flat" or "distant". When he played at Philly or Houston, he looked the same and elicited the same comments. That is his personality. He is all business on the court. Sure he is not happy about starting. But there has not been one peep from or about him related to that from the team or organization.

So thumb's up to KT for calling out Grant and Mike, especially in view of their blubda blubda blub responses. Let's see what KT does against Boston and go from there.

Actually, why are those items mutually exclusive. A guy can be very talented and great with people's kids and still be a pain in the ### in the locker room, can't he?

If the Maloofs and 1140 think he's OK doing both jobs, let him do them.

I think he keeps the 2 very separate. I like having Bibby running the show on the floor and yet he sucks at times on defense. Am I being 2-faced? No, I can have multiple opinions about people depending on what's being discussed. He is also, as a member of the Kings' organization, privy to a LOT of information and dealings we have no knowledge about. You may want to consider that as well....

I would say yes.

No. ;)

I'm just sick and tired of people complaining about a radio talk show host who's doing his job.

Put all this energy and effort into convincing Sacramento to build a new arena, or finding constructive ways to support the team.

Bashing Grant and Mike just seems so......pointless and stupid. It's like yelling at water for being wet. If you don't like it, avoid it.

Warhawk - You're complaining about people complaining about a radio talk show host? What would you rather they do? Say nothing??? I can pretty much guarantee that, much like Voisin, Napear would much rather have people angry at him for something he's said than to show no reaction at all. Talk show radio is ALL ABOUT protagonists and antagonists. It means more to them than life itself.

Bashing Grant and Mike is their bread and butter. Don't ever think otherwise.

;)

You're right, but doing it HERE is pointless. You want to make a point, call the show. Better yet, call the producers of the show or the Maloof organization. These guys keep getting blasted like they stole your kid's lunch money or beat up your mother. Lighten up. Bashing AV, however, is entirely justified. ;)

^^Watch out. You made water mad. It's headed your way and it's not looking real happy.
