I read that O'Meara will have a goodbye segment on Friday's show, then Westwood One will offer 30 days of reruns to the affiliates that carry his show, then the plug gets pulled.

Dunno if KHTK would run a month of reruns or if they'd get Koz on asap.

Well I must admit that I used to enjoy the Don and Mike show, especially in the late 90's early 2000's but always wished it was on another channel and that KHTK would do sports during that time slot. Then when Don left, that show became boring as hell and I listened to 1320 or 680 instead.

Glad to hear that KHTK will now be all sports and Koz on top of that is great!

I couldn't stand Don and Mike(mostly Don) so I'm glad to see that time slot open up. I always enjoyed Koz's show and I'm looking forward to hearing him in the afternoon. As far as the Rise Guys......haven't really listened to them consistently so I can't tell.

I've read that Koz's show will run from 12-3. If that's the case, I'm assuming that Grant and Mike's show will begin an hour earlier now?? 3-7 ??

Thats great news! I have always hated not being able to have sports talk on khtk when Don and Mike was on. Don and Mike was OK I listened a few times but the Mike only show really sucks.

Unless contractually obligated I think KHTK would be smart to plug in Koz right away. Reruns of Mike would cause a lot of dead airtime in Sac for the next 30 days.
