That is EXACTLY why the group was started in the first place. Before everybody got motivated by the major threat, it absolutely was a constant source of poison being leeched into the ground in Sacto. That stuff does matter. Public opinion/chatter eventually becomes public fact if let go long enough.

Right now with everything gone so hot and so many people up in arms about it its not so important -- to a certain degree the trolls' voices have been clearly swept away under a wash of pro-Kings sentiment. But if that all subsides before the arena deal can get going its going to need some attention again when they creep back out and start trying to undermine support. Perception becomes reality.

I agree with all of that, I just had some unpleansant experiences with comments about me personally. The truth is all the groups behind the effort to keep the Kings and get a new arena, need to be more public than just the comments section or on boards like this. The hard part will be maintianing momentum during the off season. I do intend to go to the city council meeting where the Taylor/ICON group present the results of their feasibility study. I've got me fingers crossed that its a viable plan with realistic financing options on the table.
