Week 3 Rules
In week 3 you may vote for 2 movies with no restrictions (except you cannot vote for your own) -- these can either be movies you have not seen or repeat viewings, your choice. And you also have the option to vote for 1 more movie as long as you have not previously voted for it in a previous round. So 2 (any) + 1 (new) = potentially 3 total. If you have already seen them all, just the 2. Hope that works out.

P.S. Still do not vote for your own movie.

POLL CLOSES SUNDAY, AUG 31st, 12midnight PT

Okay, I'm assuming the poll closes SUNDAY...but hopefully third time will be the charm on getting the actual date right since this coming Sunday will be Aug. 30.

:p

I have to protest the balloting scheme just a little. I'm not going to vote for a movie I didn't really like over one I really DID like but casnnot vote for again with the previous vote restrictions. Makes no sense to me ... So this round I'm only voting for two flicks.

This round I only voted for one. Since I understand it's the last round, I wanted to put my full support behind the film I thought was best.

I have to protest the balloting scheme just a little. I'm not going to vote for a movie I didn't really like over one I really DID like but casnnot vote for again with the previous vote restrictions. Makes no sense to me ... So this round I'm only voting for two flicks.
I only voted for one this time. Last time I was shut out because I couldn't make up my mind on using all my votes or not and Brick closed it earlier than he announced he would. So this time I'm taking no chances.

Yeah, don't know how much I like the split any movie/only a moie you haven't seen voting scheme. It was designed ot short circuit a Titanic like phenomenon where people just voted for the same movie or movies again and again and again and the result was a foregone conclusoon after 1 week. That's obviously all too easy to do in a poll as opposed to sitting through the same movie time and again in the theater (unless of course you were 14 and a girl when Leo was running around the big boat). And its worked to some degree, in fact maybe even to too much of a degree as I think its maybe artificailly inflated movies getting votes for no other reason than the voting scheme.

In fact even if keeping the idea it might have been better/less artificial just to say that you could only vote for 3 movies in the second round and 2 movies in the third round and 1 movie in the final round, but that you could always vote for a new movie you have not seen yet in addition to any other votes. Of course that would have a tendency to make peopel spend more time using their 3 votes or whateer on movies thye had alreayd seen (since why waste 1 on one you had not if you could see them for free). So no panacea there either.
