Hello All,
When we revisit this thread many years from now, try to recall how you felt in TDOS 2006 an offseason marked with:
-the leaving of Bonzi Wells
-the currently dubious signing of John Salmons
-drafted yet another skinny 2-guard in a kid named Douby
-a PF tweener tandem of Kenny Thomas and Shareef Abdur-Rahim
-Mike Bibby just lost 20 pounds and has his crab dance renamed the "drunken testicles dance"
-Brad Miller had a less than stellar outing in the World Championships (where U.S. placed 3rd!!!)
-oh, and we have new coach Eric Musselman replacing one of the winning-est coaches in the league, Rick Adelman
Good times all around!
Going with a comment made by VF21 in the "Kirk Hinrich Time Capsule Thread," this is our very own time capsule thread that we can open up on the first day of TDOS in 2010.
Some ground rules:
1) Please only post predictions/reflections ONCE. The capsule will be sealed after the first 100 posts (excluding this one; I post twice!
).
2) Leave a prediction about what you think will happen to the Kings, the NBA, or general world events between 2006 and June 2010.
3) Or leave a reflection about the Kings today, the NBA today, or something happening in the world today that you would like to remember. (NO POLITICS, please - VF21).
4) You may post a picture of something that fits for 2 or 3 above, but keep it clean and keep it in good spirit. Write down a caption for the pic, as by 2010 the picture link may be gone.
5) Do not comment on someone else's post, just make your own.
With that, fellow Kings Fans, let's store some memories...
