Well, since 1999 Kings have never won a game on December the 13th. I think that it is abot time to change that. Anyways I had to go back to 1994 to find a Kings win against the Warriors (112 -107) Kings were lead by Richmond 29 and Polinyce (20). I personally did not know that Polinyce could score 20 pts. Kings were 11-8 at that point and ended up 39 - 43.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
Anyways Kings 9-12 on a 2 game winning streak going on the road to very tough places. Still very desperate to win games. We wasted a big home stand and digged ourselves a big hole. Now, we have to get out of it on the road. Won't be easy. While doing that we still have to deal with the bench which is extremely incosistant at best, we have to deal with starters that will get used up eventually playing ridicolous minutes, we have to deal with the numerous speculations regarding players, coaches. At least our mascot will not be traded any time soon.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
Ron Artest might be the most "popular" NBA figure at this point in time. A nightmare for David Stern. Also Pat Riley is back. He gave away a team that sucked and he waited till things got better and now he is back. Not sure what to think of. SVG did a great job with Heat.Appearently his biggest deficit was - that he hated losing too much:eek:. Players appearently did not like that. Whatever !
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
So we won second straight much hareder that it should have been. Still no defense and no bench. Starters playing big minutes which will cost us sooner or later. While it was great to see Kings win - it was also a pleasure to watch Chris Paul play basketball. His only weakness - he does not play for Kings. The question is - can we get some momentum and cary over "the winning" on the road and steel some games. We sure need it.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
Wolves again. Kings underdogs here but still have a chance here. Of course a lot will depend on a "mercy" of great Wolves players like Olwokandi and Griffin. They kill us every time:eek:. You add KG and Wally who actually never misses against us and that is truoble. Can Pedja do something against Hassel ? Can kings bench just "not suck" bad. How long can Bonzi sustain his performance ? BTW I just looked at Wolver roster and just the tought that this bunch of players (exception of KG) is actually better than us makes me very depressive.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------\
Mike - we need him to bounce back tonight. Jaric is much slower than Paul but also bigger. Come on Mike !
Pedja - can we count on him to overcome his "damons" tonight - probably not. However - another RA yelling might do wonders.
Brad - missed yet another tripple double because he could not catch 10 rebounds. Beats me.
SAR - made himself a good birthday present. Now, we just have to convice him that every day is birthday.
Bonzi- amazing run continues. Keep it up.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
Thomas - he had some good moments but generally not a good bench player.
Skinner - does OK with minutes he gets.
Garcia - terrible shot selection. just terrible. Can't complain about effort.
Hart - can't believe I am saying this but I miss Brent Price and derek Martin .
Martin - Ra lost the keys to the doghouse temporarely. He just have to stay patient and wait for the chance. It will come.
Williamson - did better as a center last season.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
RA - still the coach. Still hanging in there, still suffering, still giving a damn, just not getting any credit whatsoever.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
Wolves have so many players that have hurt us before that expecting a "unusual suspect" to hurt us is not really realistic. Certainly possible - but not realistic.

Prediction (I'm a psychic you know): Stojakovic dunks on KG a few times and grabs about 20 of his usual agressive boards. Bibby with his usual sick handles and outstanding defense. Bonzi hits threes all game. The Kings bench will score at least 50 points. The Kings will kill the Wolves 110-60. Marko Jaric is incredibly ugly.

Webber made 27 pts and 21 rebounds tonight to help the sixers beat the wolves 90 to 89 in OT.

Thanks for giving them a tough game and running it into OT the night before the Kings come to town Chris!

after what allen and webber did last night, i think we've the chance to win not only they are exhausted, but losing by 1 point in a overtime would destroy their confident for awhile i hope:D

Kings need to do as good as or better than Webber did defending against Kevin Garnett. If they do that, they have a chance. This is also the Timberwolves' second consecutive game. Keep your fingers crossed!
