[Game] Kings @ Wolves Game Thread, Wed 10/27 @ 5PM

He's really playing in control tonight.

Yeah, not a strong showing earlier on but he's become more aggressive, getting boards and staying with his man. Omri played with a lot of fire as expected but rushing a little.
My takes on the team from this game:
- We can have a pretty good bench, Head giving us decent minutes
- Landry is being more aggressive on the boards

Points to improve:
- Running the fast break. We need to pass the ball more.
- Pick and Rolls. Passes need to be more crisp and bigs can't roll blindly without looking at the defense
- Free throws. Good lord our FTs stink

This is why Cousins will struggle to get ROY. NBA refs will just assume a foul on rookie big men. You really can't play D as a rookie big.

His size and rep will hurt him a lot in this department as well. Meanwhile in LA, Griffin is already getting star calls (if preseason is any indication).

Also: Greene needs to shoot a bajillion freethrows a day in after hours practice

When JT challenges a shot, he sticks his hands out like a zombie. No wonder he gets called for the foul

A lot of questionable calls tonight going against us...
What's Donte doing so wrong that people are calling for his head - really we need more Casspi coming off the bench as an offensive spark which he hasn't really had the chance to do this game

As much as I like Donte and JT .. they arent the guys you want out there when the game is close in the fourth. Ideally we'll have Udrih, Evans, Garcia, Landry, and DMC out there at the end.

I imagine it will be more like Reke/Beno/Cisco/Landry/Dally...Unless they want to bring him slow off of the injury. Either way our Cousins/Dalembert center rotation is probably going to lead the league in fouls per minute.
