Hall of Famer
It is an early game that should have been nationally televised. Don't oversleap on the West coast.!

On March 5th 2003 Kings beat Wolves in overtime 96 - 95 to improve to 43 - 19 for the season. It was such a tight game in which neither team won a quarter by more than 2 pts. Webber who won the main matchup against KG , lead the Kings with 25/11/3/3bl. Pedja had 20/11/2, Vlade had 16/10/4.DC had 14/6/3bl/2st, Mike had 11/5 assists. Bobby had 9/4/2 off the bench. Kings only had 9 turnovers. KG had 27/24 but it wasn't enough.
With the score tied, 83-83, in the final minute of regulation, Webber blocked a pair of inside shots by Garnett, who finished with 27 points and a career-high 24 rebounds.
"It's always a treat to watch those two go at each other," Kings guard Bobby Jackson said. "KG's a force, Webb is a force. Both of them came to play tonight, but in the end, Webb got the best of KG. He made some crucial baskets at the end, and that is what we expect from him."
"We really think we are a much better team than the Kings,"Gill said. "We made some mental mistakes down towards the end and that is what cost us the game. I think we beat ourselves. Hopefully, we'll meet the Kings in the playoffs, the Western Conference finals."

Kings @ 28 - 30 closing on .500 and I believe that it is just matter of time. Much better days in the kingdom lately. In the meanwhile, Kings are on the 3 games winning streak, 2 games road winning streak, 9 in the West only 1.5 games behind Lakers (should be just a game after Pistons take care of business). Also Kings are 10 - 4 in the last 14 games. The road trip is going great too (2-0 so far). We don't suck anymore.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
Kings won both games on this trip so far. Great wins regardless on the oposition. Solid defense, good rebounding and experience play an important part in these wins. However, the team believes and it is crucial. There is a sense of urgency and we play hard for 48 minutes. When this trip is over we might look back on it and say - this is when it turned around. Still we have 3 more games and we should approach the the same way we did the previous 2. We can't let up or relax. Every game will be important down the strech.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
So, that is - what it looks like when Brad Miller actually plays in March. I like it. obviously, a Kings fan wouldn't know - because this is the time where Brad is usually injured. Thank god - we didn't trade him either
. Brad has just been heuge recently. He has been our most consistant player on both ends of the floor. He is not a flasy player but he is so reliable in what he does. No, he is not perfect and yes, he still has the same weaknesses but recently it has been about his strengths and the way he utilized them. Keep it up Brad.

Before the season started Kings had enough talent to make the POs. Nothing really went right. The chemistry wasn't there, the mix wasn't right. Some injuries hurt too. Since the trade all those things improved and it shows. We are still trying to get out of a whole that we dig ourselves but it doean;t look like a desperate man drowning anymore. There is a plan and some kind of structure. We still have issues and we need improvement in several aspects of the game. However, we can look forward to things again.
---------------------------------------------------------------------
Kings making a strong push towards the PO. We still have long way to go. Even if we should get into that 8th spot any time soon - we wouls have to work hard to hold off other teams. It will go to the last game of the season. Details will make a difference. One of those details is the ability to bounce back from tough losses. It is important that a tough loss doesn't turn into a losing streak because we can't afford one anymore. We have the talent and the experience. We have the guys that wants to go to PO badly. We have ARCO. We don't have depth because of the injuries and we have a tough schedule. We don't suck enough for a high pick and knowing our luck we wouldn't get it anyways. Might as well play in the POs.

Rick Adelman can coach. He might not be able to go all the way because defense is not his philosophy but make no mistake here - he can coach. This team was dead in the water. It looked horrible, pathetic, hopeless. RA wouldn't quit. He believed that things could turn around. He deserves the world of credit here. With everything that has been going on starting with all PJ thing during the summer. He has been professional, classy and it is paying off. He couldn't get any credit when his team was dominating the league all these years so he won't get it now. just look at so many coaches who don't have a clue what they are doing. Some of them make 10 millions ayear just to suck. It is a travesy that RA doesn't have a contract beyond this season. It makes no sense. The way he has been treated - Kings as an organisation doesn't deserve him anymore. The fact is - You don't know what You have had until it is gone. It has happened a lot to us lately - hasn't it ?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
We beat Hawks last game mainly on experience which is the way that good teams do it. We made the big plays when we needed them. It was nice to see Bonzi back. We need him but we need him healthy. We rebounded well. Brad was big and Kevin finally seams to understand the concept of the road game. Hawks or no Hawks - any win on the road is big. We have a momentum and we should ride it. Williams won the TDM award.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
Early game in DC against a wounded team that is fighting for the POs too. Arenas vs Bibby should be great. We need to rebound well. Hopefully, we can have a good start. We have done fairly well in DC and there is no reason to change it now.
------------------------------------------------------------------------
Mike - time to have a big game here. We need it.
Ron - just keep resuplying the pills. Ron has been the man.
Brad - just keep it up man and no layup drills in practice - please!
SAR - how badly do You want to be a part of the post season ?
Bonzi - we need whatever we can get
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
Kevin - one more time A1 - one more time
KT - stop turning the damn ball over man. Just rebound the ball and don't think too much.
Cisco - get well soon.
Hart - untradable
Corliss - not much going on these days according to his diary
Potapenko/Monia - why did we get them again ???
Price/Sampson - Mateen
------------------------------------------------------------------------
RA - You are the man ! Wasn't Eddie Jordan Your assistant coach ? You didn't show hiom everything - did You ?
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
Wizards are solid at home. Arenas, butler and jamison are always capable of having big games. We need to be solid on the glas. TDM award will go to Taylor.
------------------------------------------------------------------------
Pistons need to win tonight (up 7 at the half) and Sonics tomorow.
