This team seems to have a psychology problem with the Wizards players...that's why they don't play well whenever they meet.
It’s like they get dragged into the black hole of unserious dumb crap that is Poole/Kuzma lolThis team seems to have a psychology problem with the Wizards players...that's why they don't play well whenever they meet.
I'm not going to act like fatigue didn't matter at all, but Washington zoned up and the Kings had no answer. You've got to have more versatility about your offense when the threes aren't falling. We did though. In the second half, most of those threes were wide open looks off of drive and kicks
The question is why would you want to rely on 3's against that roster? That just gives them a chance to win, if you have an off shooting night
Fox was like 0-8 to start though wasn't he? He got going but the average is what it is for this team. It's the 3's that will tell the tale more often than not. Obviously Fox doing this against an actual playoff team probably doesn't matter either way but you can beat teams like this if the 3's fall.
Avdija has been good lately, to be honest.I'm not going to act like fatigue didn't matter at all, but Washington zoned up and the Kings had no answer. You've got to have more versatility about your offense when the threes aren't falling.
Also, whichever assistant coach was responsible for the Wizards' scouting report should have a five-figure fine coming: 17/9/5 from Deni Avdija?
They really didn't though. Domas was trying to really pound the Wizards and called for the ball in the paint almost all night to no real success. In the end it's just what it is, the Kings simply rely on 3's. It's who they are. Keon and Edwards certainly change that dynamic a little defensively though.
You saying that UK stole Fox's mojo?#14 Oakland about to take out UK up 5 with 4.9 on the clock. Not a Kentucky day all around.
The first 8 shots don't count?
In any case, I don't want Fox or anyone else taking that many shots unless they're on fire. He shot 33%. The rest of them team shot 48%. And of course you're right about the rule of 3's for the Kings, but THIS was a game they could have won even w/the miserable 3-pt shooting.
There was that stretch at the end of the game where HB decided to guard Deni one on one for like four straight possession and let him get to the rim every single damn time that probably ultimately decided the game.I'm not going to act like fatigue didn't matter at all, but Washington zoned up and the Kings had no answer. You've got to have more versatility about your offense when the threes aren't falling.

Feels like it only happens to us for some reason. These unbelievable video game shots go in for the opponent when we lose smhYou have to give the Wiz some credit. Every time it looked like the Kings were going to take control of the game the Wiz hit a shot clock expiring 3 or and one or a paint basket. Holmes also did a great job on Sabonis. Just 9 shots for Domas, couldn’t get anything going down there.
Late in the 4th they got into the bonus, with a chance.....and kept shooting 3's
Even if they lose to the Mavs twice I think they’re still in position to have the tie breaker over them with division WL percentage. The big must win game is the last matchup with the Suns.Hard seeing the kings making the 6th seed... unless they beat the mavs twice in their upcoming matchups.
More like Oakland or anything UK had no mojo. You saying that UK stole Fox's mojo?
