[Game] Kings @ Wizards - 11/28/16 - 4PT/7ET

Every time I consider getting even a little optimistic the Kings go and do something like this.

Despite forcing the OT (and just delaying the inevitable) this has been one of the most pathetic efforts of the season.

Looks like another disappointing loss. This roster needs work. We can't score when it counts. Cousins cannot be the only one out there able to score. You're giving the defense a break.

This is an example of why this Kings team (as presently constructed) won't ever be good.

You can't be a winning team if you only have one guy that can score in crunch time and opponents know it.

Frustrating loss.

I really dig Joerger, but this is on him.

That stretch in the 4th killed us.

Hopefully Vlade can somehow get us another guy who can score when the big guns are resting.

We didn't deserve to win with the level of play we brought. It was just the fact that the Wizards are so bad that it gave us fans some hope that we could.

This was a terribly disappointing game and once again Rudy shows glimmers of hope then just absolutely nothing. Afflalo was practically invisible as well and Temple's shooting has just disappeared

If Boogie goes just 6-10 from the line, we win this game, more than likely.
Puh-lease, the guy gutted out a great performance with 4-5 spectacular shots. You can blame half of dozen players before Boogie:
  • Rudy comes up empty in OT like he did in POR
  • Affalo misses wide open 3s when we need a boost
  • Barnes - total bricklayer and costly TOs
  • Temple - defense is great, but has made 2-11 FGs over last two games
  • Willie - the next time I see this kid get a tough rebound will be the first time
  • Koufos and Omri - 6 total points in over 40 total minutes
Now after getting past 7 rotational players for negative to neutral play we can blame Boogie for missing 7 free throws.

Sad but true, Cousins can put up 45 and 25 but it won't matter if he has zero help, none of his teammates can space the floor for him consistently and it hurts to watch.

Afflalo is just collecting checks out there, such a pointless signing. Said it then, say it now, say it later. It's all in the same.
