Welcome, fellow Kings fans!
It's a brilliant day here in the forest. A beautiful blue sky, with white fluffy clouds are a sharp contract to the glistening snow and bright green of the trees... The snow is melting pretty quickly now and I can actually see patches of ground in some areas while there are still drifts of 2-3 feet in others.
Today is an IMPORTANT game for the Kings. Of course, in late March, they're all important. We just need to see them come out and take care of business, looking like they really want to be playing after April 17.
Here's what today's Bee has to say about the matchup:

KINGS UPDATE
Status: The Kings are banged up, but then again, what NBA team isn't this time of season? It could mean more time for the reserves, including Corliss Williamson and Jason Hart. Home success aside, the Kings will be tested by an athletic Warriors bunch that is fresh off a stunning victory in Dallas.
Trend: Winning at home has become almost automatic again. The Kings have won 14 consecutive games at Arco Arena, with Ron Artest unbeaten in the building since his arrival just over two months ago.
Injury report: Kevin Martin, bruised thigh, questionable.
WARRIORS UPDATE
Status: The Warriors aren't out of the playoff picture yet, but they'll have to piece together a monster of a run from here on out. Jason Richardson, the Kings suspect, will be ready to play. He has had some of his best outings against Sacramento (33 points in an earlier Warriors victory this season). Since the All-Star break, Richardson is averaging 27.3 points.
Trend: The Warriors have let games get away down the stretch, and they've allowed teams to run up and down the court at will, yielding 100.2 points. Derek Fisher is a player the Kings know well from all those Lakers seasons, and Richardson has had three 40-plus games in his last eight outings.
Injury report: Baron Davis, ankle, out.
Projected lineups:
Kings - Bibby, Wells, Artest, KT and Miller
Warriors - Fisher, Richardson, Dunleavy, Murphy and Foyle
Best matchup: Wells vs. Richardson - Richardson is a tough handle because he never stays still, either running and dunking, shooting from downtown or attacking the rim. Wells, meanwhile, is especially strong on the boards.
