On the one hand, I am legitimately happy for Thomas; he played strong in the first half, and kept us in the game. More importantly, down the stretch, he took a step back, and let Cousins and Gay take over: only two field goal attempts (1-2), and four assists, in the fourth quarter and overtime, combined.

On the other hand... nah, you know what? I'm not even going to go there. I've always said, if you're going to be critical of a player, you have to be fair when they have a good game. Thomas played well, and Imma let it go at that.

He has done this before and Cuz and Rudy have gone berserk. Don't know what leads to what. I guess when he sees Cuz and Rudy hot he needs to stay out of the way.

What a game! I had seats in section 116, row W, but was able to sneak down to 3 rows behind press row for the second half. First time I was that close to the action. Glad I did, because those last 17 minutes of basketball were awesome

Oh yeah my old buddy Jimmy Knuckles from back in the day took that photo when I was signing some autographs. He's a good guy, that Jimmy. He says the card I signed for his nephew in the hospital made the kid's day. It's the little things that make my job great I tell ya. I do it for the kids. I mean yeah, the chicks, the money, all that's great, like I said before, but at the end of the day, this Hammer's got a marshmallow heart of gold. We all just wanna make a difference. I do it for the kids.
