I was concerned when I saw the roster released as it looked lacking in nba caliber talent but I think that in terms of the compressed new FO timeline, it was something that could be squeezed.

Well, he can't be productive with any lineup if he can't shoot and can't handle.

We need to do something to try to get him settled. I don't think he can create for himself, but maybe a backcut or two just to let him see the ball go through. Its taken him less than 40minutes of summer league action to completely lose confidence.

Well, he can't be productive with any lineup if he can't shoot and can't handle.

That's the problem I am seeing he can't shake defender to back cut.

Meanwhile McCallum is again showing a lot of energy and hustle, but he's also showing that he's only going to make the rampant 1 on 1 non-passing problem worse.

Yeah I'm called stupid and silly. For not having faith in a guy that can't play d can't dribble can't shoot can't back cut. I don't like jimmer at all but jimmer can shoot. This is embarrassing as a kings fan. SL or not you gotta be better than this

He's not shooting with any belief.

And his teammates know it, and have quickly lost faith as well. And his coach felt like he had to yank him to get his head right.

Before I am going to write off his shooting entirely I want to see him just get like 2 to go down in a row and see if it sparks anything. Just no idea how to make that happen.

I wouldn't call anyone names, but thinking that a guy who shot the lights out in college is a poor shooter just because he has 2 bad summer league games doesn't make much sense at all. Even great shooters in the NBA can put together a string of poor shooting games.

People are just being overly impatient about this and it is absurd.

Well, thing is, a LOT of great college shooters come into the NBA and fail miserably. Whole other level.

But that doesn't explain all the missed wide open shots. Those should go no matter where you are.

Nonetheless McCallum has obviously been the much more impressive rookie so far.

being able to shoot good is great for HORSE it don't translate ask jimmer and Morrison. Did you see been just try to dribble down court? It's pathetic he lost it twice before finally turning it over.
