Yup. Problem is riding the bench had little to do with them being hot this game and everything to do with Smart doing this every game. He plants his starting backcourt on the bench too long every single game. If anyone actually thought he was simply riding a hot bench for a quarter it woudn't be a problem. Problem is he rides them too long every game whether they're hot or not and kills his starters.

Well, unless you're Cuz.

As long as the guys space the floor well someone will be open. He always pulls a couple defends when he starts to dribble. If they don't double he is the Layup King! If they do and people are in the proper positions we get good looks. That's the part we need to improve the most I think in regards to our offense. Not crowding each other.

He was riding a hot bench that he hasn't ridden this year. Not only that but the Kings are short handed tonight. There just wasn't a reason to be all upset about Reke not being in.

You can only defend it better if you are taller. It's one of the problems we have really. Even if you defend it perfect you still are too short to make much of a difference. Luckily you don't have to deal with guys like Aldridge too often :)
