Can we merge these threads?

Yep. Consider it done.

And a reminder: If something like this happens, use the "refer a post." That way, it will be the first thing I see when I log on.

;)

This game scares me. If we can't stop centers I've never heard of, how the heck are we going to stop someone who is 7'6"?

I'm sure Yao Ming is very excited to play against Brad Miller.

How do we stop Ming? Don't let them get the ball inside to him.

Ming doesn't like to come out to cover opponents, so he's going to be out of his comfort zone, especially if Brad is able to get his perimeter game going. He'll pretty much have to step out and that will leave room for either Artest or Bonzi to work inside from the weak side. Bibby to Miller in the high post or even a couple of steps further out will give us a lot of options, including Artest inside, SAR or Bonzi inside, KT dashing inside, etc.

This could end up actually being a VERY good game for Brad if the right one shows up.

;)

I think we should send Ron inside and have him post up Yao Ming. Now that's a recipe for success:p On a side note, I wonder why everybody always refer to Yao Ming as "Yao". Yao is his last name. They should be calling him Ming more often.

For the same reason we call Mike Bibby "Bibby."

Yao is his first name, it just oriental players usually have their first name on the jersey instead of the last, I don't know why.

I do not speak as to Yao's own family/heritage, but its probably a cultural thing -- family name is considered much more important in a number of asian cultures than the personal/first name. Traditionally, you would be defined by your family/clan, then your own name would just be a lesser means of defining you as an individual.

Yo. Yao. Ming. ...

I just want to call him disappointed after tonight's game.

;)

Poor Houston. I actually feel bad for them.
Does this mean that we might actually see potatohead tonight?

14-4 run by the Rockets to end the quarter. Kings had 6 TOs, I think. Sure fell completely apart after a great start.

Those camera guys have to have some major bruises after the kings games
To heck with the camera guys. I'm always afraid one of our guys will get taken out for a season, by falling over those guys and their cameras.
