good teams develop their top picks and let them get playing time even if they make mistakes, the fact that Bagley was able to improve massively on defense is a testament to how important player development is.

Was him sucking on defense really his fault ?

Just give him time. I won't even go too far. I've had enough watching Gerald Wallace dominating defensively, for Charlotte.

It amazed me that some fans were convinced he couldn't get better on defense or offense, because.... I'm not really sure the reasoning. It just didn't make sense.

I'm blanking on that one. Help a mod out?
My bad, I Mandela Effect'd myself. I was thinking of Michael Ruffin:

I was 100 percent sure that Ruffin was involved but, for some reason, I thought that Ross threw it up, and Ruffin recovered and sent the game to overtime. Doctor Internet, however, revealed to me that Ruffin retired played his last game before Ross got drafted, so I had clearly misremembered.

The Kings beat a lesser opponent. Yay.

I remember that game! The Wizards would give us a run for our money for which team has given their fans more reasons to be miserable in the last 20 years.

I realize that the Kings are supposed to be the franchise in disarray but I'm confused how Eric Gordon, Christian Wood, and DJ Augustin are still on the Rockets, let alone playing major minutes in crunch time for them.

Also, they've still gotta figure out how they're gonna get rid of John Wall's contract.
