as always it feels like the kings are winning this game despite Luke doing Luke things
I'm usually not on bagging on the coaches at this level, but their primary influence lies on rotations. At my level(s), it's mostly been skill development and conceptual basics. I was also there at the nascency of A10 "excellence", so I do understand the need to develop at the college level.
That said, Walton is bumfuzzling me with rotations. We live in a totally different era where rookies (aside from Haliburton) need more coaching on fundamental concepts, both physical and strategic. You just can't out talent anyone in the NBA. Especially if your "talent" is athleticism.
This is a long winded explanation to say that yes, the Kings are succeeding in spite of Luke, but also, the Kings did Bagley a disservice by not developing him earlier via the G league, or making him unfriend his dad on social media.
